Information for Incoming Students

Office of Global Affairs (OGA) encourages all exchange students to live
on our downtown campus as this is where the majority of your course work will be
and its closer to the main street in downtown Morgantown, several of the student
body activities take place on the downtown campus.

Dining & MealsDining Halls are located in many of WVU's dormitories and your meal plan will work at all of these. If you are staying in a WVU Residence Hall, then you are automatically enrolled in the meal plan, and it is automatically applied to your student account. International Student Health Insurance
All students at West Virginia University are required to have health insurance. WVU's
preferred provider is
AETNA Student Health. If you do not have AETNA student health, then you
must complete a waiver; more information can be found
NOTE: Your waiver will not be accepted unless your insurance has the same coverage as the AETNA Student Health policy.
