Scholarships for Study Abroad

There are many different scholarships available for participating in a study abroad program.

Global Engagement Opportunity Grant (GEO)

The GEO Grant is an award administered through the WVU Office of Global Affairs, and is available to any students participating in a WVU Exchange Program. For more information, click here.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship

The Gilman scholarship is designed to provide study abroad experiences for persons with limited financial means. All students  who receive a Federal Pell Grant and are studying in one country for at least four consecutive weeks are eligible to apply. For more information, please click here, or contact the Office of International Programs.

Eberly Academic Enrichment Program

Available to those majoring in  Eberly College of Arts & Sciences programs, the  Eberly Academic Enrichment Program offers funds to eligible students that can be used towards their study abroad experience.
